Hair dying the Bubbly way!

Hello everyone!

I dyed my hair today! :D Here's the video of the whole process!



LOL Cool right? hehe. I've always wanted to try this ever since I saw the CF (Commercial Film) for this! It was super duper cute!



Hahaha, isn't it adorable? :P I finally managed to get my hands on one. And suprise! I didn't buy it online. LOL I got a little ripped off but it's okay. For you Adelaideians, Kawaii Fashion in China town has a bunch of Japanese stuff. It's your best bet for Japanese cosmetics accessories or whatever! I paid $22.95AUD for this. Not that bad considering western brands like L'oreal etc. are around $18.95ish AUD so yeh. If you get it online, it's cheaper by a few bucks!

Okay, I'm a total dumbass. I forgot to take pictures of my hair before I dyed it! I was way to nervous and excited to even think! LOL But um you guys can refer to my older pictures and videos :D Lets just say, very bad re-growths and grey hairs!

Gayoon (4Minute) Inspired HUH Crystal Eyes

Hi everyone!

So as promised, I'm back with a new video :) This look was inspired by Gayoon who is from a Korean pop girl group called 4Minute. They recently released their new album and their title song is called "Huh" (Hit yoUr Heart). In the music video Gayoon wore this really beautiful look and I really fell in love with it, so I thought I'd do a tut on it :)

Purple Haze Tutorial + FOTD

Semi Smokey Formal Loook!

Hi everyone!

I know, I know! I haven't updated in the longest time, and people have started to wonder if I've actually given up on blogging! Well the answer is of course not! Silly ahah! It's just in the last few weeks, I was trying to finalize last minute assignments and cram sessions study for test and what not, it got kind of heck-tic LOL.

Anyway, now that I'm on two week break, Hopefully I can update more often than not. I still have a lot of work to do though, which sucks to the core :(

Anyway, two weeks ago, I had my formal, or prom as you Americans call it ;)
and because I was sort've lazy and out of money, I did my own makeup prep and hair to save the dosh! Haha so i decided to share the look with you guys! :)

I go crazy because of you - T-ara inspired look

Hi girls!

I'm back with a new tutorial. I've been lacking a little bit of inspiration lately so I haven't been having any ideas of a new look. But i decided to go with a celebrity inspired look.

I'm going to try and recreate this look that I saw from T-ara's new concept. T-ara is a korean girl group and their recent concept is dark and sexy! So this look is quite similar to a smokey look.
My look is based on Soyeons look and here is a picture of her =)



So lets get started =)

First start off with concealer and foundation. I used my bourjois healthy mix foundation and my healthy mix concealer, they were from the same line =)

Start by priming the eyes and I used Urban Decay's Primer Potion.

So now, using a beige skin colour shadow that has shimmers in it (I'm using Kate's dual karat in BR-1) and place it all over the lower part of the eyelid. Then using a tanish sunkissed colour (I used a sample pigment I got from coastal scents), pat it on the lid above the beige colour. Such as so;



Now, after applying the tan colour, using the brush you used (or fingers) slightly bring the tan colour shadow upwards towards the brow bone.



You'd need to bring the tan colour up towards your brow bone more than what I have in the picture above. I took a photo of it before I did that step by accident hehe

Now using a black shimmery eyeshadow (I'm using prestige mono eyeshadow in Onyx) apply it all over the area that you applied the beige eyeshadow. (Yes, you're applying the black shadow into of it)



Now using a matte black eyeshadow (I'm using NYX's eyeshadow in Black) and apply it ontop of Onyx, however on a smaller part of the lid.. um it's hard to explain I'll just let the picture explain to you,



So you're applying the matte black shadow where it says black. and you're going to gently bring it up so that it could merge with the shimmering black shadow. Then you're going to blend oynx with the tan shadow thats already on the lid.
It should look like this;



You can make it as dark as you want or as light as you please, thats all up to you.

Now onto eyeliner, using a liquid liner, line your eyes so that it gives you an outline of where to draw your eyeliner when you use the gel liner.




^thats how your going to line your bottom waterline.

Now curl your lashes and apply mascara. The next step is optional. ^^

I applied fake lashes just to make the look more dramatic.

Now using a baby pink blush, apply the blush on the apples of your cheeks (smiling will help you find the apples of your cheeks easier). I used "baby pink cheeks jelly". I got this as a present so I have no idea where to purchase it. It's a cream blush. Now finish off with a soft baby pink lips.

And... you're done! ahah

Oh! Chocolate Sweetness.. look

Hi people!

As promised, I am back with a tutorial. This tutorial was inpired by my lastest colour obession. Brown and pink. I know it sounds weird, but they go together really well! ahah So this tutorial is based on those two colours.

Without any further ado.. we shall start!



Face:
Missha the style Perfect Concealer - Light Beige
Revlon Colorstay stay natural makeup foundation
MAC MSF - Medium Natural
MAC MSF - By Candlelight..
NYX Blush - PB 06 Rose


Eyes:
NYX eyeshadow - Princess Pink
NYX 5 Colour Shadow - I Dream of ST. Marteen
NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencel - Ice Mocha
L'oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara
Lancome's le crayon khol - Brown
Twoface Shadow Insurance

Lips:
Maybeline colorsensational lipstick - pink please
Lancome juicy tube

First start of by priming your eyelids. I used my Twofaced shadow insurance.

Now using NYX princess pink eyeshadow I'm going to pat it on my lid starting from the inner corner for my eyes.



it should look somewhat like this



I drew arrows there to indicate that you can feather out the pink outwards. This creates a softer edge, which will make it easier to blend out later =) Also, in order to get the pink brighter, continue to pat more eyeshadow onto your lid untill you are satisfied with the amount of pink.

Now using a brown from the NYX 5 colour shadow pallete - labeled as '2'



Pat the shadow in the middle of the lid (area shown below)



It should know look like this



So obviously, the brown is a lot lighter than the pink as we intensified the pink alot, so now we have two option, one; keep on packing on the brown like you did with the pink or two; using a jumbo shadow pencil (NYX Iced Mocha) to intensify the brown. I used the second method but if you have the jumbo eyeshadow pencil, just stick to the first method. Either way will work.

Now using NYX's Ice Mocha jumbo pencil, gently dab the shadow onto the eyelid where the brown is. Then using your ring finger, gently blend out the harsh edges. The warmth from your fingers will help break down the cream shadow making it easier to blend.

After applying the jumbo pencils a few time, you should see that the colour is a lot darker and intenses now.




Notice how darker the brown is now? =)

Now all u have to do is blend out the harsh edges where the pink and brown meets.
After you have finishing blending using a brown (black if that suits you better) tightling your waterline. Bottom and top.



Then using the eyeliner pencil (if you're using gel liner, thats also fine) darken the outer v (area shown below)



Curl your lashes & coat them a few times with mascara, apply some blush and a light pink lippie and you're done!

Yay! haha

Love Paradise makeup look ♥

Hello everyone~

With the mode of Valentines day comming up~ I was inspired to do a pink look~ I'm still thinking of a sweet valentine look to do~ so if I come up with one, I'll deff post it up. If any of you have a request for a particular look, just leave me a comment or email me at cathy_h93@hotmail.com

Today we're going to be doing this look~





So lets get started!
I am using my Inglot Pro 5 Freedom eyeshadow palette. This palette allows you to choose your own shadows in whatever colour you want for $45AUD!



First start off with priming your eyelid. If you don't have a primer, if you have any cream eyeshadow with like pinky tones, you can use that as a base.

I've alread applied my foundation and concealer already ^^


^wow my skin turned out really flawless here ahhaa



Anyway using the hot pink '1' (pearl 449) apply it with a gentle tapping motion onto your eyelid. The hot pink will come out a lot darker than it's suppose to be but don't worry, we're going to fix as the steps goes on. Here i'm using MAC 239 brush. It's an eyeshadow brush with slightly fluffy bristles.

heres what it should look like:



Now using the baby pink from the same palette '2' (D.S 488) apply it gently onto your lids so that it overlaps the already exsisting hot pink. This will tone down the hot pink. However, also bring the baby pink towards your inner corner, so that you lids will have two shades of pink. (I used the same brush, but I just flipped it over)



So start by placing the baby pink eyeshadow onto of the hot pink, and then slowly bringing the baby pink to the inner corners of your lids. Don't put too much baby pink eyeshadow on the hot pink or esle you will lose the essence of the hot pink, and we don't want that

It should look somewhat like this




Notice how my hot pink has been toned down by the light pink yet, you can still see that there is a darker pink under there. Thats the look that we want to achieve. The inner corners has a flow of baby pink eyeshadow there. It creates a sweet innocent look haha.

Now using shadow '3' (AMC Shine 30), using a more fluffy brush such as the MAC 275 to apply this more shimmery shadow on the top edge of the pink.



Also pat this shadow ontop of the baby pink shadow thats on the inner corners of your lid. This will brighten up the colour and also give it a cute shine to the colour since the baby pink is a little light and is also a matted eyeshadow. Now using a blending brush, blend out the line where the two pinks met.

Now, using a stiff eyeshadow packing brush (im using's eco tools eyeshadow brush) mixing the two purples together '4' (AMC Shine 40[the darker purple] & AMC Shine 22 [the lighter purple]) place it on the lower outer corners of your eyes:



^just like that photo, place the purple where I outlined. The arrows that is on that picture is telling you to bring the purple up. When bringing it up, using a swiping motion so that it blends the purple into the pink.

For eyeline, I used a brown gel liner. (MAC's fluidline in Dipbrown) and using KATE's geliner brush, I winged out my eyeliner just like this.



Also, bring the eyeliner down the lower lash half way. This way, the lower lash line won't look so plain and boring. And the contract won't be too big.

Now as you can see, I was in a rush to leave so I forgot to do mascara! so just curl you lashes and coat your lashes!
I use MAC's eyelash curler and Diors 'Doir Show" mascara in black. I'm in love with this mascara, I should do I review on it sometime.

Now apply blush on the apples of your cheeks and you're done! So smile and apply the blush! Use a pink blush to bring out the girlyness in you! ahaha
I used inglots blush in '38'
