Models Prefer Pallete Reviews

Hello everybody!

A lot of people have asked me to review products that are Australian branded/made/owned so here it is. Haha

Models Prefer is an Australian Brand I think. I don't think it is sold anywhere else outside of Australia?

Anyway, Models Prefer is a really cheap brand, their make-up palettes are mainly all under $10AUD! Crazy right?
I picked up two palettes the other day at priceline since they were so cheap, it made me curious!

I've never seen Models Prefer anywhere else but Priceline. I may be wrong but I think they MIGHT have it at Target :)

Anyway, I picked these two:

The one on the left was $6.99AUD and the one on the right was $4.99. So I thought to myself, "why not? If they're shit, it was only $12 all together!" So I bought it.

I already own one models prefer palette before this one and the one I own was quite impressive so I had high expectations for these two.

Here are swatches of the 10 colour palette:

It feels like I had to swatch the product 100 times to get it to show up!! The pigmentation of the 'matte' colours are truely horrible! The only one that showed up will would be the metallic sheen colours! The palette included blushes in it.. but the blushes were also fail >.<
This palette has a lot of colours. Colourful and then neutral. This was probably the only good thing about this palette.
And after all the rubbing and swatching... this was what happened:

It left behind disgusting chalky fall out -_-"
So here are my verdict:

Price: 5/5
Quality: 2/5
Colour Variation: 5/5
Packaging: 2/5
Pigmentation: 2/5

Overall, I think you can skip this $7 purchase and save up for something better. Such as save up another $18 and get a GOOD inglot palette!!

And here are swatches of the 5 colour palette. It is the warm eyeshadow and blush palette.

The colours of this palette is more 'me' as it is pinky/purpley/gold and I like that combination! The pigmentation of the palette was a bit better than the previous one. This palette was $4.99. It was okay, but it's not something I would re-purchase in any case. The shadows also left a chalky fallout behind after swatching it. You can see it in the very first photo.

So my verdict for this palette is:

Price: 5/5
Quality: 2/5
Colour Variation: 5/5
Packaging: 2/5
Pigmentation: 3/5

I am truly disappointed in these palettes. I don't recommend that you go out and buy these just because they are cheap. I would recommend you to save your money and save a little bit more and go out and buy something more worth it.

These palettes would be best as presents to your little nieces! LOL Little girls who like to mess around with makeup, other than that. Save your money ladies!

Anyway, this is all! I shall talk to you in my next post ^^

Love,
Cat. xox
